Position Details:

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is a single-stream Catholic co-educational primary school in Hilton, catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. In partnership with the Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual, academic, social and emotional growth of every child. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Year One teacher to join our dedicated team of educators.

Selection Criteria: 
A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
A team player, with a proven history of developing positive, professional relationships in their current / previous community.
Evidence of data-informed teaching practice through the application of continuous monitoring strategies of achievement
Experience and passion for 21st century learning, incorporating ECE pedagogy.
A proven history of initiating and/or supporting whole school improvement practices and extra-curricular activities.
A professional who values the importance of teaching Social and Emotional Wellbeing to enhance and support the wellbeing of our students.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe learning environment for all students.
A team orientated, positive, professional, cooperative and collaborative educator who values and strives for continual professional growth and values feedback.
