Role description

Position Details: 
St Mary MacKillop College is committed to providing quality K-12 Catholic education in the South West region. We are a supportive, caring community with modern facilities designed to engage students and bring learning to life.
•    Full-time, ongoing position 
•    Commencing as soon as practical

Reporting to the Principal and Business Manager, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Manager to oversee the performance, security and future development of our College IT environment. This diverse role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, project management, and staff and student guidance, ensuring technology solutions are aligned with the evolving needs of the College community. You will play a key role in creating a secure, efficient and innovative digital experience for both staff and students alike.

Key responsibilities of the position:
•    Lead, mentor and management of the ICT team. 
•    Manage ICT operating and capital budgets.
•    Collaborate with college leadership to implement the ICT sections of the strategic plan.
•    Liaise with CEWA IT and other CEWA departments in all IT requirements. 
•    Recommend appropriate technologies, audio visual hardware and infrastructure. 
•    Oversee IT risk and compliance, policies and procedures, security and data management, disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
•    Provide technical advice, support and training to all college staff, students and families.
