Role description

Position Details: 
Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School is a single stream, co-educational school with an active school community and supportive parent body.  Education excellence is highly regarded, with the staff utilising data to inform their practices to provide a quality education that meets the students' needs.   We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and organised Performing Arts Teacher to join our team of dedicated staff members.
This is a fixed-term position for the 2027 school year, with the strong possibility of continuing in 2028. Applicants are asked to state their experience and/or qualifications in the Performing Arts area/s of Drama, Dance or Music. The Performing Arts subject/s covered in 2027 will depend on the skillset, qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.

Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae and the names of three referees, one of whom must be the applicant's most recent employer. Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education. Successful applicants will require a Working with Children Check and a current TRBWA registration.

Selection Criteria: 
We are seeking a suitably experienced, qualified, professional, committed, positive, "Christ centred, child focused" Catholic educator who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and desire, along with;

Qualifications and/or experience in teaching the Performing Arts area/s of Drama, Dance and/or Music
