Education Assistant - Mainstream

We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream - Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As a Mainstream Education Assistant, suitable applicants will assist teachers in delivering planned education programs and supporting a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.

Under teacher direction, they will assist in the delivery of planned education programs, including the operation of technology, and implement individual or small group programs. They will also assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment by maintaining equipment, materials and resources for use in classes, displays and demonstrations, and assisting teachers with the clean and safe storage of items after classes and activities.
