Summary
Lead teaching and learning excellence at Sacred Heart Primary School. Mentor teachers, drive curriculum initiatives and improve student outcomes, while embodying the values, mission, and principles of Catholic Education!
- Location: Sacred Heart Primary School, SANDGATE
- Start date: Commencing January, 2027
- Work hours: Full-time | 2 days PLL, 3 days Teaching
- Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + PLL Allowance super (commensurate with experience)
- Status: Full Time | Fixed-Term (This is a substantive 3 year appointment as PLL with unerlying permanency attached to your underlying teaching contract)

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
- Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
- Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
