CAREERS COUNSELLOR, January 2027

Christway College is a growing Christian college community with campuses in Kingston and Wyndham, committed to nurturing students in faith, learning, and life.

Christway College Wyndham is seeking a passionate and experienced Careers Counsellor to guide and support our secondary students as they explore future pathways in education, training, and employment.

This is an ongoing, part-time position, FTE negotiable, commencing in January 2027.

The successful applicant will:

·         Provide career advice, counselling and subject selection guidance to Years 9–12 students

·         Support VCE/VCAL/VET pathways planning

·         Build partnerships with universities, TAFE, industry, and employers

·         Assist with work experience, tertiary applications (VTAC), and scholarship opportunities

·         Contribute to a supportive, Christ-centred school culture

Essential criteria

 ·         Relevant tertiary qualification in careers education, counselling, or related field

·         Current teacher registration or equivalent counselling accreditation

·         Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

·         Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of Christway College
