St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teacher who specialises in Science (Years 7, 8 & 9), to commence in Term 1, 2027. As part of the Secondary School department, this permanent part-time position, with an estimated FTE of 0.53, offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a meaningful impact in the field of education. The main responsibilities and tasks of the role include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons across the secondary school curriculum.
- Assessing and reporting on the progress of students, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of diverse student abilities and backgrounds.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of teaching practices.
- Participating in extracurricular activities, school events, and pastoral care duties as required.
