Role description

Oxley Christian College is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Generalist Classroom Teachers to join our Junior School team, commencing in January 2027. We are looking for individuals who are not only qualified and experienced but also share our commitment to delivering exceptional education within a Christian environment. 

 
The successful candidate will be able to teach from a Biblical perspective and uphold the College values while planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

  • Teaching and Planning: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Australian Curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for students.
  • Biblical Perspective: Integrate Biblical principles and a Christian worldview into the curriculum, fostering spiritual and moral development among students.
  • Upholding College Values: Demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding the values and ethos of Oxley Christian College, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well organised and positive classroom environment conducive to learning, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the broader school community to support the holistic development of students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Primary Education or a related field (with teaching qualifications).
  • Current teaching certification and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
