Role description

We are an independent, co-educational, non-denominational Foundation to Year 12 school located in Caroline Springs, Victoria. Established in 2011, we are united by a clear purpose: to develop people who make a positive difference in the world. At Southern Cross Grammar we prepare our students for lives of purpose and impact, grounded in the belief that when students matter, futures shine brighter.

We invite applications from graduate and experienced French teachers to join our Languages team. The successful candidate will teach French to students in Years 7–9 and contribute to the future development of the French language program through to VCE.

This is an ongoing, 0.5 FTE position commencing in Term 1, 2027. Full-time employment may be available by negotiation for candidates who can offer an additional teaching method.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of evidence-based teaching practices, including those informed by the Science of Learning, and a commitment to developing students’ language proficiency, conceptual understanding and confidence in communicating in French.
