About the Team:
The Child Safeguarding team is a specialist statewide function within the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority. It assesses notifications, complaints and intelligence and investigates allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct in early childhood education and care services. The team works closely with regional regulatory staff, government agencies, external authorities, sector stakeholders and subject-matter experts to identify risks to children and support coordinated regulatory responses.
