Role description
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
This role will be suited to a passionate, enthusiastic and self motivated individual.
Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people;
- To work collaboratively with teachers and parents to implement a programme (which is provided by the classroom teacher) that is best suited to student’s individual needs.
- Positively guide students’ behaviour and assist them towards independence in their learning
- Establish rapport and trust with the student, carers, teachers and outside support agencies, eg: speech therapist, occupational therapist.

Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education;
- Previous experience in an education setting working with children or young people is desirable (if applicable);
- Willingness to further enhance understanding of children's learning and behaviours;
- A collegial and collaborative approach to engaging with others;
- Ensure Child Safety Standards are upheld;
