Role description
Sacred Heart Parish School is a 'high performing school' and fully committed to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all students in our care.
Applications are invited from educators for a full-time ongoing Classroom Teacher position in 2027. Graduates most welcome to apply.
The successful applicant will be fully committed to working closely within their professional learning team, display a sound understanding of Literacy programs (explicit practices), contemporary teaching approaches to Mathematics and a wonderful rapport with students and staff alike.
The successful applicants must ensure open communication with all staff members and demonstrate excellent skills in planning, documentation, communication and reporting.
The successful applicant will require:
- the ability to promote the importance of Education in Faith in our Catholic community
- a current VIT registration
- a commitment to child safety and knowledge of the Child Safety Standards
- knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
- the ability to work in partnership with colleagues in the areas of planning and implementation of differentiated learning paths, based on the needs and interests of our students.
