Role description
We are seeking a Learning Support Officer at St. Vincent de Paul Primary School to join our committed staff for 2027. This position is a 0.81 FTE to commence on January 27, 2027.
The position is over 5 days beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 3:30pm to support children within classrooms under the guidance of the classroom teacher.

The successful applicant will:
- be able to work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships
- providing support for a student’s academic, social, emotional and behaviour learning
- maintain notes to record student progress as required by NCCD
- support the implementation of the student's Personalised Learning Plan
- liaising with classroom teacher & Learning Diversity leader to review children's support program
- be committed to building strong partnerships between families and school
- be committed to ongoing professional learning
- have a strong commitment to wellbeing and child safety
