Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced and well-qualified professionals for the position of Junior Social Worker (Junior School to Year 7).
The Junior Social Worker supports the wellbeing, participation and success of students from Pre-Primary to Year 7 by working collaboratively with students, families and staff to address social, emotional and behavioural challenges. The role contributes to a positive and inclusive school environment through early intervention, counselling, advocacy, consultation and wellbeing programs, while strengthening partnerships between home and school.
The successful applicant will:
demonstrate ability to establish positive and professional relationships with students, staff and families.
have strong interpersonal, communication and advocacy skills.
Experience supporting children and families experiencing social, emotional, behavioural or wellbeing challenges.
have the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute positively to student support planning.
