Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.

Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced and well-qualified professionals for the position of Inclusive Education Coordinator - Junior School. 

The purpose of this role is to provide consultative and educational services that support inclusive student access to, participation in and engagement with the learning environment, ensuring diverse learning needs are identified and appropriately supported.

The successful applicant will:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, maintains effective procedures, and fosters a culture that identifies and supports every boy’s diverse learning needs.

  • Drive a culture of inclusive education and shared responsibility for student success.

  • Build staff capability in differentiation and evidence-based inclusive practices.

  • Coach and support teachers in inclusive classroom practice.

  • Promote evidence-based approaches to literacy, numeracy and learning intervention.

  • Collaborate with curriculum leaders to strengthen differentiation and student engagement.

  • Support the implementation of Universal Design for Learning principles and contemporary inclusive practices.

  • Maintain contemporary knowledge of educational research and best practice.
