St Agnes Catholic High School, Rooty Hill, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Careers Teacher with the ability to teach in any secondary Key Learning Area. This is a permanent full-time position commencing 27 January 2027, at the beginning of the 2027 school year.
St Agnes is a welcoming and innovative co-educational Catholic school for students in Years 7 to 12. For more than 60 years, the school has provided strong academic preparation within an authentic Catholic environment.

The successful candidate will
Lead the delivery of engaging careers education and pathway programs.
Provide students with individual guidance on subject selection, further study, training and employment opportunities.
Support students to identify their interests, strengths and future career pathways.
Coordinate career-related programs, events, work experience and employer engagement.
Build partnerships with universities, training providers, employers and community organisations.
Maintain current knowledge of tertiary admissions, vocational education, apprenticeships and labour market trends.
Deliver engaging and contemporary teaching within their accredited KLA.
