Craigieburn South Primary School opened in 1986 and is situated in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, in the City of Hume, approximately 25 kilometers from Melbourne. The school is on a site shared with Craigieburn Secondary College and the two schools share many aspects of their infrastructure, including School Council and the Middle Years building. The student numbers at the school are around 500. The school has a diverse community, with these cultural aspects enriching the students¿ learning and their appreciation and respect for all. The staffing profile of the school is balanced with experienced and graduate teachers. The school also has a number of Education Support staff to assist with the learning needs of the students.
