Role description

Location Profile

Koo Wee Rup Primary School¿s motto of `Together We Learn' symbolizes the school¿s focus on learning being not in isolation, but involving a community commitment from students, teachers, parents and our wider school community.

We value a collaborative teaching and learning culture where student needs are the focus. Individually and collectively, our staff contribute to the creation of a school culture that strives for excellence and makes positive and constructive differences to the lives of our students. Our teams plan quality teaching and learning programs, based on student need and researched evidence.

The school has a student enrolment of approximately 314.  It is set in the township of Koo Wee Rup in the Shire of Cardinia, just 20 minutes from Pakenham and Cranbourne, 75km south east of Melbourne. Our buildings are modern and flexible and our outside space is extensive.

Our school provides a nurturing environment where the well being and education of our students are our priorities. We ensure our learning environments are safe, orderly and where positive relationships and behaviours are valued and celebrated.

We have three values that guide our `Together We Learn' focus;

Respect - valuing the rights of others, a sense of belonging and commitment

Responsibility - high expectations of self and others, shared vision to achieve success

Resilience - building personal wellbeing and strength
