School Overview

Moe (Elizabeth Street) Primary School is one of five government Primary Schools in the Moe/ Newborough area. It is a school that has seen many generations of families pursue their education. The school is an important part of Moe Heights area. This ongoing family history is valued in our school community. 

The school has undergone significant refurbishment over the past few years both internally and externally to create a positive educational environment with the specific aim of creating optimal learning environments for the students. The school is very well resourced, all classrooms have Interactive Technology.

The school is in a `Neighbourhood Renewal¿ area and is strongly supported by the local community and the Latrobe Shire. This has been evident in the building of playgrounds as well as other community building activities. 

At Moe (Elizabeth Street) Primary School our core purpose is to provide a caring and challenging environment where all students are supported to take responsibility for their personal, social and academic learning, empowering them to become productive members of their community. At this school we believe that every child is capable of achievement and every child has the right to an education that unlocks their potential.   Moe (Elizabeth Street) has very strong programs for our Koori students.   The school is recognised as a school that strongly supports our Koori students who make up approximately 40% respectively.
