Selection Criteria
SC1. Demonstrated experience in, or capacity to undertake, complex daily organisation and timetabling, including the coordination of staff absences, class coverage, duties and room allocations.
SC2. Demonstrated high-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, respond to changing circumstances and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced school environment.
SC3. Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer systems and software, with experience using systems such as Edval and compass.
SC4. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders.
SC5. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, initiative and confidentiality while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a safe, professional and child-safe school environment.
Role
The Daily Organiser / Timetabler plays an integral role in the College¿s planning and coordination of classes and teacher allotments at the College as well as coordinating, managing and implementing short-term cover for teachers¿ absences. It is expected that they will provide a high level of customer service and be competent in the provision of up to date and relevant information. The provision of accurate information is important as it projects a professional image which is always the aim of Dohertys Creek P-9 College.
