Role description

We are looking for a committed Christian educator who is passionate about teaching Mathematics to students in Years 7–10 and who desires to serve in a school where Jesus Christ is openly acknowledged and celebrated as Lord of all.

The successful applicant ideally will:

  • Be a suitably qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher (Years 7–10).
  • Be eligible to work in Australia.
  • Be a committed Christian who is a member of, and actively involved in, a local Protestant church.
  • Wholeheartedly support the Christian ethos, vision, and Statement of Faith of Covenant Christian School.
  • Be enthusiastic about contributing to curriculum development that integrates a classical and Christ-centred approach to education.
  • Demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching and a commitment to educational excellence.

  • Obtain and maintain Teacher Registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
