Role description
St Peter’s Anglican Grammar and St Peter’s Heart are two of three schools governed by Campbelltown Anglican Schools, as a ministry of St Peter’s Anglican Church, Campbelltown. St Peter’s Anglican Grammar is a Pre-K to Year 6 school, and St Peter’s Heart is a special school catering for students with mild to moderate intellectual disability and/or mild to moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder from K to Year 6.
They are Christian independent schools seeking to employ practising Bible-based evangelical Christian staff who can contribute to the Council’s mission statement. To provide a Christ-centred, academically rigorous and biblically informed education that nurtures students in faith, knowledge, wisdom and character.
About the Role
The position of the Casual Teacher is to ensure the pastoral, spiritual and academic needs of all students in their care are met. The successful candidate will be an appropriately qualified teacher with the ability to utilise effective teaching and learning strategies. The candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a safe learning environment for all students within the school.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Professionally representing the School in personal presentation, mannerisms and Christ-like service.
