  1. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality speech pathology services within an educational setting, including assessment, analysis, reporting, consultation with families and staff, and the development of practical recommendations that support student learning, communication, participation and engagement.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in evidence-based speech pathology practice, including the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of individual, small-group and classroom-based supports and interventions.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, education support staff, school leaders, allied health professionals, families and external agencies, to improve outcomes for students.
  4. Demonstrated ability to build the capability of teachers and education support staff through professional learning, coaching, modelling and consultation in areas relating to speech, language, communication and inclusive classroom practice.
  5. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to establish positive and respectful relationships with students, families, staff and professionals within and beyond the school community.
