St Joseph's Parish School, Gladstone is seeking enthusiastic, passionate, and adaptable Relief Teachers to join our casual relief teaching pool.
As a welcoming Reception to Year 6 Catholic primary school, we pride ourselves on knowing every child and fostering a nurturing learning environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role
Relief Teachers play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting the wellbeing of our students when classroom teachers are absent.
We are looking for educators who:
- Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
- Build positive and respectful relationships with students, staff, and families
- Create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
- Support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school
- Are flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic members of a team
Essential Requirements
- Current teacher registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (or eligibility to teach in South Australia)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) training (or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to child safety and wellbeing
