Role description

Position details:

Clontarf Aboriginal College is a co-educational Catholic CARE (Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education) secondary boarding school for First Nations students in Years 7-12, located in Waterford, Western Australia. In the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice, the College is a place of learning and understanding that respects and celebrates Aboriginal culture and spirituality. With an on-site boarding house, students are provided with a unique environment in which to develop lifelong skills while accessing a quality education. The College remains committed to nurturing and empowering young people to contribute positively to their communities.

The Role:
We are inviting applicants for the extremely rewarding position of College Business Manager. The Business Manager is a member of the College Executive Leadership Team and is responsible to the Principal for the sound financial and business management of the College.  Key leadership responsibilities include financial management, human resource and payroll management, facilities and services management, strategic planning and risk and compliance.

Selection Criteria:

The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of financial and business management and must hold current membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). They will demonstrate experience in the application of professional accounting standards, financial governance, reporting and compliance, together with the ability to develop effective relationships with students, families and staff.
