OSHC Educators - Qualified

The Opportunity

St Mary’s Memorial School is currently seeking enthusiastic, qualified OSHC and Vacation Care Educators to join our vibrant Out of School Hours Care team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with children, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are committed to providing high‑quality care that supports the wellbeing, safety and development of young people.

Key responsibilities include

• Delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities that support children’s learning, social development and wellbeing
• Providing high‑quality supervision and ensuring the safety, dignity and inclusion of all children
• Building positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Supporting daily operations including food preparation, set‑up/pack‑down, and maintaining a clean and organised environment
• Upholding CESA policies, child‑safe practices and OSHC service standards

About You

We are seeking someone who:

• Holds an approved OSHC/Vacation Care qualification (or is actively working towards one)
• Demonstrates warm, positive and professional interactions with children and families
• Shows initiative, reliability and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team
• Brings creativity, flexibility and a willingness to contribute to a fun, safe and engaging OSHC environment
• Understands and upholds child‑safe practices and behavioural expectations
• An ability to actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of St Mary's Memorial School
