Role description

Position Details:

St Helena’s Catholic Primary School is a co-educational primary school catering for over 490 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for a committed and passionate Teacher to positively influence the lives of students and contribute to our school community at St Helena's Catholic Primary School. This position could also potentially become full-time with another specialist/support teaching role added, depending on the strengths and skills of the successful applicant.

Selection Criteria:
Applications are invited from educators who can demonstrate:
•    Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
•    Demonstrate excellent pedagogical skills with a flexible, collaborative and student-centred approach.
•    Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum - Health & Physical     Education.
•    Demonstrate the ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust the teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
•    Display excellent classroom management and organisational siklls.
•    Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Demonstrate a high level of expertise in planning & coordinating various sporting events.
•    Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and to enhance one's own teaching instruction and the learning culture of the school.
