About the role

The successful applicant will:

  • Support the Catholic identity and values of St Paul’s Primary.
  • Deliver engaging learning using plans provided by the classroom teacher.
  • Create safe, positive and inclusive learning environments.
  • Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behaviour expectations.
  • Support students with diverse learning and wellbeing needs.
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Support Officers and school staff.
  • Communicate professionally and provide clear feedback to classroom teachers.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility and a strong commitment to child safety.

Special Requirements

  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration.
  • Current Mandatory Reporting training.
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications (desirable).
  • Demonstrated commitment to Child Safe Standards and the safeguarding of children.
  • Willingness to work flexibly across Foundation to Year 6 and specialist programs based on school needs.
  • Experience teaching in primary school settings and supporting students with diverse learning needs (desirable).
