About The BUSY School Online …
The BUSY School Online is an online platform of the BUSY School, which is part of The BUSY Group, a not-for-profit organisation presenting nearly 50 years as a community partner providing employment services, vocational education and training, apprenticeships, mentoring and allied health services.
The BUSY School (TBS) is an independent Queensland Special Assistance School offering alternative education for students in Years 11 and 12 who have disengaged from mainstream education. The BUSY School Online (TBSO) is a platform offered by TBS that provides an alternative, flexible, high-support online education pathway for young people in Years 11 and 12. Students re-engage with education through a model of online curriculum and practical vocational courses and employment pathways, while working toward senior certification.
The BUSY School Online provides a supportive and safe learning environment for young people by providing them with an education program that includes online curriculum, vocational education and training (VET), work experience and opportunities for school-based apprenticeships and traineeships. Our team support the students to gain employability and transferability skills to increases their sense of wellbeing, resilience, belonging, academic achievement, career exploration and employment outcomes.
