The Team
Join a dedicated and highly supportive multidisciplinary team working with young people to support reengagement in years 11-12. As a Youth Worker in the Back on Track team, you’ll build meaningful relationships with young people who are disengaged from education, helping them navigate barriers, reconnect with learning, training or employment pathways, and take positive steps toward independence and future success. Every day offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in a young person’s life through outreach, advocacy, practical support, and connection to services that matter.
You’ll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment that values shared expertise, professional growth, and reflective practice. The role combines purposeful case management with community-based outreach, supported by access to government vehicles, ongoing professional learning, supervision, and access to a comprehensive staff wellbeing program.
