Role description
We are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and committed educators to join our pool of Casual Teachers, supporting student learning across Stages 3–6. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who are passionate about education and committed to creating engaging and supportive learning environments. Casual teachers play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning and contributing to the vibrant life of the College. Successful applicants will work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to provide high-quality learning experiences while upholding the values and expectations of the College.
Job Description
As a Casual Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons, support student learning and wellbeing, and maintain positive classroom environments in accordance with College expectations. Opportunities may be available across a range of subject areas and year levels, depending on the needs of the College. The successful applicant will demonstrate flexibility, professionalism and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
About You
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- A working understanding of, and commitment to, the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
- Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
- NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.
