Role description

Assistant OSHC Director

Permanent | 30 hours per week (Term Time + School Holidays)

Blackfriars Priory School is seeking a dedicated and experienced OSHC Senior Educator to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) team. This is a permanent part-time position supporting the delivery of a high quality, engaging and compliant care program for primary-aged children.

Working closely with the OSHC Director, the Assistant OSHC Director plays a key leadership role in the daily operations of the service, including supporting staff, overseeing program delivery and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Hours of Work

Term time: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 9:30am and 2:00pm – 6:00pm

School holidays: Flexible shifts across 30 hours per week

Please note: This role requires a commitment to working Monday to Friday and the completion of an ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher qualification recognised for South Australian OSHC services. Applicants who do not satisfy these mandatory requirements should not apply.

 

About the Role

Under the direction of the OSHC Director, the Assistant OSHC Director supports the coordination of OSHC and Vacation Care programs and may act as the Responsible Person in charge where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the OSHC Director in the day-to-day operation and leadership of the OSHC and Vacation Care service
  • Act in the Coordinator role where required, including oversight of service delivery and compliance
