FINANCE OFFICER
Position Details
St Benedict's School, is a co-educational Catholic school catering for children from Pre Kindy to Year 6. The school has a strong sense of community and tradition, along with committed and enthusiastic staff, working closely together to provide a supportive teaching and learning environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Finance Officer to join our vibrant and supportive learning community.
This is an ongoing position working 5 days per week, 44 weeks per year (Negotiable) at Level 5/6.
This role plays an important part in supporting the effective operation of the school, working closely with the Principal and leadership team to ensure sound financial management and administrative support.
For applicants new to Catholic Education Western Australia, appropriate training and support will be provided.
The Finance Officer will:
Manage accounts receivable and payable processes
Manage payroll processes and prepare employment contracts
Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Maintain general ledger processes and financial records
Support budgeting, reporting, and compliance requirements
Provide financial and administrative support to the Principal
Assist the Principal with the financial management of capital projects and loans
This role requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a school environment.
