Role description
This is a 7 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency
Lake Gwelup Primary School (PS) is a Level 5 school located in the heart of a vibrant and close-knit community. We are proud of the strong sense of belonging fostered through positive relationships among students, staff, families, and the wider community.
Our school has a rich history dating back to 1914, when Miss Ella Miller opened the doors to just 24 students. The original schoolhouse still stands proudly at the front of our modern campus, which was fully rebuilt in 2010. Since then, the school has grown significantly, reflecting the development of the Gwelup area and our reputation as a highly sought-after school.
At Lake Gwelup PS, we value personal excellence and celebrate diversity. We are committed to nurturing both academic achievement and the social-emotional wellbeing of our students. Our teaching practices are inclusive, differentiated, and evidence-based, ensuring every child is supported to succeed.
Our staff embrace innovation and continuous improvement, working collaboratively through shared leadership, coaching, and mentoring. We aim to develop resilient, optimistic learners who are well-prepared for the future.
