Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
At Bungaree Primary School (PS) we proudly serve a diverse community and recognise that many of our students come to school with a range of educational, social and emotional needs. Our focus is on ensuring every child is known, valued and supported through high-quality teaching, strong relationships and a safe, inclusive learning environment. We hold high expectations for all students and believe that every child can achieve success when provided with the right support and opportunities. Our school values of Respect, Effort and Safety underpin everything we do and guide the way we learn and work together.
We are committed to building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and student wellbeing through evidence-based teaching and consistent whole-school practices including the Berry Street Education Model. We know it is important to work in partnership with families and the wider community to remove barriers to learning, celebrate student growth and create opportunities for every child to reach their potential. We value collaboration, continuous improvement and a culture where staff, students and families share responsibility for achieving positive outcomes for all learners.
