Role description
Indulkana Anangu School is located on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far north of South Australia. Guided by our school values of kunpu (strong), wanganara (respectful), and arkara (try your best), we deliver quality education to children and young people in Indulkana community.
We are seeking a passionate B1 Bilingual Education Coordinator to join our leadership team. The successful applicant will work in partnership with Anangu Educators to co-plan,and assess First Language lessons, while actively supporting the professional development of Anangu staff. This key leadership position will also work with teaching teams across Birth to Year 12 to strengthen bilingual classroom practices and ensure the school's ongoing understanding and compliance with the Anangu Bilingual Education Policy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, a commitment to cultural responsiveness, and a keen interest in fostering bilingual learning environments for all students. Indulkana is a well-resourced remote community, home to the vibrant Iwantja Arts Centre, a community store, and a health clinic, located approximately 50 km from Marla off the Stuart Highway.
