Library Officer

This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026

East Wanneroo Primary School is an independent public school located in the northern suburbs of Perth. Nestled amongst gum trees and extensive, native flora, the school provides a beautiful, natural setting for local families, it has a country feel in a city setting. The Role

The Library Officer administers the library systems ensuring library records are up to date and library and school resources are maintained and processed so they are always accessible and available to students and staff.

The successful applicant will ideally be a lover of books who is able to inspire students with a love of reading, create a welcoming atmosphere in the library and collaborate with other staff to promote reading throughout the school.

Experience with the following practices, systems and programs would be beneficial.

• Oliver Library Management System
• Literacy Pro – maintaining resources and setting up student subscriptions
• Student Subscription Management – Mathletics and ACER
• Stocktaking processes
