Primary School Teacher

Arkana College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant school community.  The position will be full-time and will commence from Term 1, 2027.

Key Responsibilities
·       Plan and facilitate engaging lessons

·       Assess and monitor student progress, as well as providing meaningful feedback

·       Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

·       Support holistic learning and development

·       Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management

·       Integrate ICT effectively into teaching and learning

·       Collaborate with peers and contribute to school programs

·       Develop programs, aligned with the NSW syllabuses (NESA)

Essential Criteria
·       Relevant teaching qualifications

·       Current NESA accreditation

·       Valid Working With Children Check

·       Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum

·       Proven classroom management and student engagement skills

·       Commitment to student wellbeing and cultural inclusivity

·       Willingness to uphold the Islamic ethos of the school
