Student Learning Support Officer (part-time)

THE ROLE

Wagga Wagga Christian College is seeking a SLSO to support Primary teachers in creating a positive and productive learning environment and ensure that all students can have the opportunity to succeed academically and socially for independent learning and confident participation in the College and wider community.

The responsibilities can vary based on the year level, subject, and specific needs of the students and teachers.

Core Requirements: 

The SLSO must demonstrate that at a minimum they:

·           Are a committed Christian, who supports the College’s Statement of Faith

·           Have an active commitment to a bible-based church

·           Have a current Working With Children Check

·           Either possesses or be willing to work towards Certificate I, II or III in Education Support or similar

·           First Aid qualified (this role requires completion of a current first aid certificate) or willingness to undertake this.

·           Conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College Code of Conduct, modelling Christian maturity to the College community
