ENGLISH TEACHER
Position Details
Kearnan College is a vibrant PK–12 school of 300 students nestled in the picturesque town of Manjimup, approximately 300km south of Perth. The region offers a tranquil lifestyle with nature trails perfect for walking, cycling and outdoor exploration. Food enthusiasts will enjoy a rich array of local cafés, restaurants and fresh regional produce. With diverse opportunities and a warm, welcoming community, Manjimup is an ideal place to live, learn, and grow.
Our new English teacher will be a collaborative and contributing team member and an engaging educator who will develop respectful relationships with students and other staff members.
This is an ongoing position and could involve teaching any year level from Years 7 to 12. The position is fulltime, but part-time of 0.6FTE or more could also be accommodated. A two-year secondment may be possible, with the support of your current Principal. The ability to teach Religious Education would be an advantage, but not essential. If there are other learning areas you are able to teach, please include these in your cover letter.

• A deep understanding of the English content area and current pedagogical practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both adults and students.

• Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the College.
