ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Position Details
St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a dynamic, innovative and faith-filled Assistant Principal (Early Childhood) to lead our Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2 learning community. This is an exciting opportunity arising from a recent restructure of the school’s leadership team, providing the successful applicant with the opportunity to shape the future direction of Early Childhood education at St Andrew’s. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of child development, contemporary early years education, play-based learning environments and evidence-based teaching practices that support strong outcomes for young learners.

As a key member of the Leadership Team, the Assistant Principal will lead the Early Childhood team while also undertaking defined whole-school leadership responsibilities that contribute to the strategic direction and ongoing improvement of the school.

St Andrew’s CPS located in Clarkson, is a co-educational, double stream primary school catering for approximately 410 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Dedicated and professional staff, together with parents and the parish, work collaboratively to nurture a learning environment where students are safe, valued and supported. St Andrew’s CPS provides a broad, balanced and developmentally appropriate curriculum focussing on the needs of our students as we strive to 'Make Jesus Real' in our daily lives.
