SCIENCE TEACHER
Position Details

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Secondary Science Teacher with the ability to teach Psychology and to engage Years 11 and 12 in the process of learning science.
The successful applicant will be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students within a culture of excellence and faith.
Selection Criteria
• Ability to teach Psychology as part of science focusing on empirical research, biological foundations, and the scientific method.
• Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.
• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
• Excellent planning and use of digital technologies, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.
• Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students and parents.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
