Aboriginal Education Worker (Identified Position)
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent, 38 Hours per week
Start date: 24 August 2026

Classification & Benefits:
This role is classified as Level 4 (averaged) under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025 as updated or reviewed.
Detailed information regarding the level, salary increments, and general employment conditions can be found within the Agreement.
Role will include:
- Working with the school leadership team to implement the Diocesan Action Plan for the Education of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples including:
- Acting as a role model for students by encouraging them to take pride in all aspects of their schooling and their cultural identity.
- Promoting a sense of welcome and belonging, so that all in the school community will gain greater respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders’ culture and each child will be provided with educational opportunities that are rich, fulfilling and promote a love of God.
- Supporting the school to understand and show respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s knowledge, skills and traditions to build and maintain relationships that are based on mutual respect and reconciliation.
