Summary

Support teachers in delivering powerful strategies that supercharge student learning and success in every subject! 

  • Location: St Pius' Primary School, BANYO
  • Start date: 18/08/2026
  • Work hours: 16.5 hours per week, plus additional 7.5 hours on a fixed term basis (2026 school year).
  • Salary: $34.17 per hour + super (School Salary Scale)
  • Status: Term Time Continuing

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use technology and learning support activities
  • Monitoring the progress of students and identifing learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services
  • Documenting observation notes, intervention programs and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.
