Selection Criteria

SC1 ¿ Demonstrated capacity, as a senior member of a school leadership team, to provide authoritative, whole-school business and operational leadership within a Victorian government specialist school or comparable complex Victorian government school setting. Demonstrated ability to translate the School Strategic Plan, Annual Implementation Plan and FISO 2.0 priorities into integrated and sustainable organisational strategies, governance arrangements and service-delivery models; exercise significant decision-making authority within delegated responsibilities; and align people, resources, systems and services with whole-school objectives. Demonstrated high-level judgement in resolving complex and sensitive organisational matters, anticipating strategic and operational risks, influencing executive decision-making and providing authoritative advice to the Principal, leadership team and School Council to support student safety, wellbeing, inclusion, engagement and learning.

SC2 ¿ Demonstrated high-level expertise and strategic leadership in Victorian government school financial and resource management, including comprehensive knowledge of the Student Resource Package, CASES21 Finance, Disability Inclusion funding, Program for Students with Disabilities funding. Demonstrated capacity to ensure the integrity and reconciliation of enrolment, student funding, workforce, payroll and financial data and integrate this information into robust strategic resource planning and rolling three-year financial and workforce forecasts.
