About Early Learning Victoria

Early Learning Victoria (ELV), as part of the Department of Education, is leading the roll-out of 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032, with 18 currently operating. Our centres provide play-based environments connected to local communities and offer long day care, three and four-year-old kindergarten and where applicable, `more hours of 4-Year-Old Kinder¿ (previously known as pre-prep). About the Role

Opening in 2027 and co-located with Cohuna Consolidated School, Early Learning Victoria Cohuna is a 102-place centre offering long day care and three and Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs.

In this role, which can be performed full or part time, you will:

• Lead the centre to provide high quality early learning childhood education and care by ensuring staff within the centre work in accordance with National Law and Regulations, including the National Quality Standards, approved learning frameworks, the Child Safe Standards and in line with Early Learning Victoria's philosophy and practice guide
• Be responsible for ensuring the centre delivers on key organisational and local pedagogical priorities, developing strong educational practices across all programs and partnerships onsite
