Location Profile
Burwood Heights Primary School caters for students from Prep to Year six and is located in the eastern suburbs in Burwood East, approximately twenty kilometres east of Melbourne, within the city of Whitehorse.
Our current enrolment of Four hundred and twenty students has increased annually and is predicted to continue to increase into the near future. the demographics of the school remain fairly constant with approximately 40% of families in receipt the Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund and a similar number of students from non-English backgrounds.
We are a thriving community with innovative teaching and learning practices and proud of our achievements. We have a strong parental and community link, support and involvement.
Our Goals: To Educate the Whole Child. The students are at the heart of everything we do.
