The Basin Primary School, situated in the City of Knox is located at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges and was established in 1880. Originally a one teacher rural school, its present enrolment is 586 making up 26 classes. The school has a strong student-centred learning approach with an emphasis on student voice, agency and leadership.
