About the position

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced primary school teachers who are keen to teach one of five Year 6 classes and lead a team of four Year 6 teachers. Applicants should be committed to working in a Christian school and equally committed to RHAC’s teaching and learning principles.  Christians who are actively involved in a church are particularly encouraged to apply.

Teaching and Learning

Construct teaching programs, based on applicable NESA syllabuses, that will enable you to:

  • Orchestrate a lesson that maximises learning for all students in the class.
  • Provide meaningful feedback on the academic work students produce in a way that will help them to improve.
  • Achieve strong academic results.
  • Effectively teach students with identified needs.

 

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Be proactive and well organised to help ensure that all matters related to Year 6 are well administered and executed.
  • Coordinate Year 6 teaching programs, ensuring that they are of a high standard and implemented effectively throughout the year.
