Location: Southern Cross Catholic College - Townsville QLD 

Salary Range:  $86,600 - $124,725 per annum pending experience (pro rata) + Super + Middle Leader Allowance (Tier 3 = $19,535 per annum) pro rata

 

Southern Cross Catholic College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Curriculum Leader - Humanities and Languages.

This is a full-time, permanent teaching roles with a fixed-term appointment to the Curriculum Leader position concluding in 2030.

The Curriculum Leader supports the mission of Southern Cross Catholic College, Annandale through leadership of the Secondary learning and teaching program by ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in three dimensions: leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership and strategic leadership. 

Guided by Catholic values, you’ll demonstrate authentic leadership that nurtures faith, compassion and community. Your ability to model integrity, foster relationships and create an inclusive, supportive environment will be key to the ongoing success of both students and staff.

To thrive in this role, you will be a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers and bring extensive classroom experience in the Humanities and Languages, together with a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA Senior Secondary requirements.
